Stephan Eibel Erzberg is an Austrian author, playwright and poet. He undertook formal commercial training and studied sociology, originally becoming a payroll accountant, before taking over a radio series about authors, entitled Literatur im Untergrund [Underground Literature], in 1976. Since then he has himself been active within the literary field, producing a number of plays, novels and poetry collections. His most recent publications include the novel Sofort verhaften! [Arrest immediately!] (2008) and a book of poetry entitled Licht aus! (2012).
