Mariane Pearl is an award-winning journalist and author and the managing editor of Chime for Change, an organisation promoting education, health and justice for girls and women. Her acclaimed books include In Search of Hope and A Mighty Heart, a memoir telling the story of the kidnap and murder of her husband, the journalist Daniel Pearl, in Pakistan.
