Luiza Bialasiewicz is the Jean Monnet professor of EU external relations in the Department of European Studies at the University of Amsterdam and a visiting professor at the College of Europe, Natolin, where she teaches an annual seminar on European geopolitics.
Published in 2011, her most recent book, entitled Europe in the World: EU Geopolitics and the Making of European Space, looks out how the EU acts abroad, focusing on spaces of EU power, the creation of narratives and the strategies the EU pursues.
