Aleksandra Hnatiuk is a diplomat, essayist, editor and translator. She works as a professor at the University of Warsaw’s Centre for East European Studies and is the author of many books, including Bunt Pokolenia. Rozmowy z intelektualistami ukraińskimi [The Offspring’s Revolt. Conversations with Ukrainian Intellectuals] (2000, together with Bogumiła Berdychowska), Pożegnanie z imperium.
