Dr. Weronika Priesmeyer-Tkocz is a director of studies at the European Academy Berlin [EAB], where she organises seminars, research and information sessions. Her main areas of interest are the transitional processes in Central and Eastern European countries, European Neighbourhood Policy and German-Polish relations. Before working at the EAB, she studied International Relations at Wrocław University, Poland and Political Science at Berlin’s Freie Universität, where she graduated with a doctor’s thesis on Polen und die Europäisierung der Ukraine [Poland and the Europeanisation of Ukraine]. Since 2008, she has also lectured at Berlin’s Freie Universität’s Institute of Eastern European Studies.
