Amber Butchart is a fashion historian and author, working across cultural heritage, broadcasting and academia. She is an associate lecturer at the London College of Fashion, and is regularly asked to speak at London’s cultural hotspots – from the Tate to the V&A. Amber is currently making a documentary to air on Radio 4 and the World Service in spring 2017. Her publications include The Fashion of Film and Nautical Chic and she is currently writing a history of British fashion magazines for the British Library.
