Alexey Pamporov conducts sociological research for the Open Society Institute in Sofia. He is also an associate professor at the Sociological Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He has carried out intensive research in Budapest and Rostock and is an expert on issues involving ethnic minorities and cultural subgroups.
